Xinyu Du became H.B. Fuller’s Senior Vice President, Global R&D, effective January 1, 2025. In this new role, he is responsible for leading R&D excellence across the businesses including process, product, and packaging. He is focused on solving customer problems through innovation, optimizing the stage-gate process, enhancing the use of artificial intelligence in formulating, and ensuring technology is shared widely across legacy and acquired businesses.
Xinyu joined the company in 2013 as an Asia Pacific technology director and has held various leadership positions within Engineering Adhesives throughout his tenure at the company. He holds a Ph.D. in polymers from Tsinghua University in Beijing, China.
